Joining the club

The Club Captain and Secretary  carry membership application forms on most tramps or you can print one from this page.   

Annual Subscription fees for 2024/25  are $30 for a single membership or $35  double/family. ($18  of this goes to the Federated Mountain Clubs of New Zealand to which we are affiliated.)

Subscriptions are due on joining and then in May each year. Membership renewal accounts are sent on May 1st.  

Bank details are on the application and renewal forms .  If paying by internet banking please advise payment by email to marlboroughtrampingclub@gmail.com

You will receive:

•   A weekly email udate of  any changes and reminders of  coming trips and  events
•  A monthly newsletter
•  An itinerary of club trips i(4 per year)  Spring (Sept-Nov) , Summer (Dec  - Feb) , Autumn  (March -May) and  Winter (June-August) 
•  An FMC  Back Country magazine  (4 per year)
• An Annual FMC membership card  The  FMC membership card  may be used at various businesses including a discounted price on a DOC Annual Hut Pass.  A number of travel discounts are also available to FMC members.  Always ask about available discounts - don't just presume.

Club Badges to sew on your pack or jacket are available from the treasurer for $5
